Challenge 

Katie and her team are challenged with trying to improve their overall yields over previous grows while always looking for more efficient ways to improve the quality of their product. The growers in the state of Washington are dealing with a declining pricing market so they’re looking for ways to improve their cash flow at the register without a large capital outlay in building a new facility to increase their yields. She was also looking to improve the overall value of their product by increasing the THC and CBD levels within their various strains. In addition, like many growers, she was dealing with some occasional pest issues. They had heard all the claims from other companies touting products that could do all of this without any results so she was very skeptical of using the Green MB product.  

Solution

Implemented the Green Microbiotics product during all stages of the growth cycle with two different strains (Banana and Frankenstein) while continuing the use of the Botanicare line of nutrients. We’re also using neem oil and sticky paper to help with the our pest issues. The growing medium is an Ocean Forest Soil along with a mix of perlite in a greenhouse growing environment. We use full spectrum 1000 watt HPS XXX lights for commercial use.  

Results

As far as clones go, it has cut the cloning process time in half, they have consistently been starting to show roots around day 4-5, and I have been transplanting around day 8-10 depending on how they are looking. The plants themselves have definitely looked healthier, and I've had less issues with them as far as pests and disease go. We’ve been able to eliminate the use of our neem oil and sticky paper. We have a couple strains that take a little longer, but that's just the variety as it's been the same with those ones each time. However, they are definitely healthier, stronger, and have a much nicer root ball than before using your product. As far as flowering goes, I do believe it definitely makes a difference as you’ll see by the yield increases and the higher THC, CBD and CBG as they have gone up. Unfortunately, we didn't have the terpenes tested, but as far as percentages on THC and CBD, CBG, etc. those have definitely gone up. We had one variety that had been averaging 16% and with your product our last test results were 18-20%. The flowers themselves definitely look much more frosty, and are much stickier than previously as well. As far as harvest quantity, we have been averaging 30/lbs for this room. With the Green MB we ended up with a little more than 37.5/lbs. However, that doesn’t tell the whole story as we normally are harvesting around 175 plants to get to that 30/lbs but we only harvested 148 plants to get the 37.5/lbs so when you look at it from a per plant perspective we’ve increased from .1742/lb per plant to .2533/lbs per plant which is a 45% increase in our per plant yield. 

I am definitely pleased with the product, and as I stated before, I was very skeptical. I have heard so many times that, oh this product will increase everything, and usually it doesn't, but with your product, it definitely did on all fronts!
